As each 'day' is over multiple ingame days, how does health/strain recover?

We're treating each "out of character" day - such as Day One or Day Two - as a single day for the purposes of recovering health and strain.
There may be some effects where wounds and strain cannot be recovered as normal; these will be noted in personal forums.
