"That makes sense."

I must sound like a Thunderbird then with all this exploring interest.

"I'll...make sure not to need baby bird retrieval" Layla laughed "I can look after myself quite well. I...I've needed to."

She looked away for a few moments, just staring at her food, then spoke again.

"Hey, thanks for the help."

Sylvain looked puzzled by the last admission before she ended up thanking him

''Oh...hum...no problem''

He was silent for a second before thinking of something

''Hey, do you have a cell phone?''

[Layla Smith]

"Of course. We're really not that backwards in the UK!" Layla chuckled, taking out her phone and offering her number to the boy.

[Sylvain Leloup]

Sylvain took his own phone out offering his number in return

''Should be easier to keep in touch''

[Layla Smith]

"Yep, good idea" Layla nodded "I think lunch break is almost over now, so no time to start looking now. I'll...see you in the library tomorrow? Unless we have the same class next."

[Sylvain Leloup]

''We'll see when I can meet you. I have a lot of extracurricular stuff happening.''

[Layla Smith]

"Ah. Yeah, sure" Layla nodded "no problem. Well...cya around?"

''Yup, have a nice afternoon!''
