(head)Master of Towers (D2 Sept 6th After School)

It had been a few days since her visit to the tower, but even after studying in the Library she couldn't get it out of her mind. Something was wrong about it, and she remembered Mrs Owens suggestion about the headmaster maybe knowing more.
Truthfully, she'd been avoiding going to see the headmaster for anything. She had met with the last headmaster before retirement, although still grieving, and she didn't know what had been passed onto this new one about her...home situation. Nor did she really know much about him; the old headmaster was spoken very fondly of, this new one...nothing.
Maybe I could find out something more about home too. Two birds, one stone
With a sigh, she approached the headmasters office, and knocked on the door.

The door cracks open. It appears nowhere is there at first glance, then, looking down - a small, bulbous nosed face.
"Eh? Whadyawan?"

He's a lot smaller than I expected...oh it's not the headmaster.
"Hi...um, I'm here to see the headmaster?"

"Hesnahhere!" the little creature exclaims and starts to shut the door.

Blink blink.
How rude!
Layla knocked again.

There some mumbled complaints from the other side then it opens again and the bulbous nose pops out.
"Whadyawan?"

Well, if you're going to be rude...
"Hello. I'm here to see the headmaster, he
is expecting me, so please let me know where I can find him."
She made herself sound important, and totally not lying whatsoever.
D2 lying to the rude thing. Deception (cunning) - no idea on difficulty:

"Huh." The little creature pauses, not quite closing the door.
"Esstillnahere! No clue where he is."

"Do you know when he'll be back?" Layla frowned "or when he's normally in? He didn't give me a time, so I thought after classes finished would make sense."

The little creature grumbles, "Makin' appointments without tellin' me - Fontaine never woulda done that! Runnin' off an' not tellin' me about appointments... no respect from these young 'uns!"
The creature shakes his head, "What do I look like, his nanny? He'll be in when he's in, amount of respect he shows. Doesn't have the decency to tell me where he slinks off to all day, waking me up when he comes back! Bah! All you humans are the same! No respect for the hard workin' pukwudgie!"

"Ok ok, calm down. I'm sorry" Layla knelt down and gave the pukwudgie a smile "I respect you. Really. I know it's not your fault. I also miss Fontaine...he was the first American I ever met, and he was a good man. You're doing a good job though, I'm sure Fontaine would be proud of you. I can tell him when I next speak to him, if you want."
