[D3 Post-Midterms] Dresses & Designs

Grace was walking down Market Row, the mysterious row of international markets. The Spooktacular (ugh) was upon her! And she needed a dress! A new one! Not one of the 13 she already had. Something new. Perhaps a costume even?

[Layla Smith]

She had at least one person joining her. Layla had pushed all thoughts of the dance from her mind, at least until after the midterms. What did her after that however...is she really didn't have a dance-worthy outfit.

Once she learnt of Graces plan, she was in.

"Wait up!" She called after Grace.

[Grace Wilkinson]

Grace glanced back at her friend and fellow expatriate. "Oh hey Layla. Care for a small shopping adventure then?"

[Layla Smith]

"You betcha. I'm hoping the shops here can compare with London, but I doubt it" Layla smiled at her friend, before adding "is it true the dance is basically fancy dress? What? But that's not a dance!"

[Grace Wilkinson]

"Oh, you could be surprised." She winked at her friend as she looked over the shop.

"It's weird, but it's a dance and a costume ball. So whatever you feel is is bets...I'm mainly looking at gowns, but anything fun I might pick up. Or pick up something for my date perhaps."

[Layla Smith]

"It's a dance! That's not right" Layla sighed "Hogwarts does it correctly. Maybe someone needs to point this school in the direction of Hogwarts for inspiration. I'm thinking of a gown regardless, something...I don't know, I could find something pale coloured and say I'm a ghost, and still look good for a ball. That's my plan anyway, I'll let you be the tourguide as you did say you would do" she grinned "I bet you had a ton of people asking you, who did you decide on in the end?"
