Instead, she went down to the potions lab to check over some notes and check the cupboard for ingredients. She wanted to review some things in anticipation...sure the midterms might be over, but when has that stopped Higglebottoms?!
There, she noticed another of her classmates, from Pukwudgie. Hecate Morgana Graves was, despite the scary sounding name, a nice witch with a daft hand at potions. And curses, according to the rumors.
"Hey Hecate."
The witch barely seemed to notice her,as she was grunting over a cauldron.
Grace stepped closer, well into her classamate's personal aura. "What're you brewing?" The question delivered in a posh accent startled Hecate out of her reverie.
"Sorry Grace, I didn't see you there." Grace smiled and let her gaze wander over Hecate...she was a bit homely, more concerned with potions and plants than apperances, but nothing that an expert in fashion and decorum cannot handle. "Say Hecate..do you have a date for the dance?"
"N-n-n-no..."
Grace stepped closer, and grasped her hand, which was covered in thick dragonskin gloves. That needs changing.
"Want to come with me?" The witch was flustered...but soon smiled and nodded.
